Kazakh fighter Daniyar Yeleussinov secures 1st victory since 2021

Kazakhstan’s welterweight boxer Daniyar Yeleussinov (11-0, 6 KOs) has returned to the ring after a long break, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Sports.kz.

The fight took place in Almaty. Daniyar clashed with Filipino Joe Noynay (23-4-2, 11 KOs) khocked him down in the first and fourth rounds, following which the Filipino athlete was not able to continue to fight.
Daniyar has secured his twelfth victory in his professional career, claiming the WBC Peace Belt. Joe Noynay has suffered his fifth defeat.
The fight became the first since December 2021 for Daniyar, after the athlete beat Juan Hernan Leal of Argentina (15-4-1, 4 KOs) by judges' unanimous decision and won the IBO welterweight title.
