Kazakh field and track athletes fail to advance to Olympic Games finals

Today, August 2, Kazakhstani track athletes Nadezhda Dubovitskaya and Yelizaveta Matveyeva lost in the Women's High Jump Qualification at the Olympic Games in Paris, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The athletes will miss out the final since they failed to jump the entry standard of 1.97 m. Yelizaveta Matveyeva jumped 1.88 meters to rank 19th, while Nadezhda Dubovitskaya finished 28th with a leap of 1.83 meters.

As earlier reported, Kazakhstani judoka Kamila Berlikash also lost today her first bout in the women’s +78kg weight class at the 2024 Olympic Games ongoing in the Champ de Mars Arena in Paris.

Adiyasuren Amarsaikhan of Mongolia beat Kamila Berlikash in the Judo - Women +78 kg Elimination Round of 32.
