Kazakh fairy tales in Serbian language released in Belgrade

In order to promote the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Serbia published a collection of Kazakh fairy tales in the Serbian language, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakh MFA.

The legends about the swallow, animals dispute, mythical stories about old man Kanbak and the pranks of Aldar Kose, as well as other adventures of famous characters of Kazakh fairy tales are now available for young Serbian readers and their parents.

The presentation of the book took place on New Year's Eve at the Children's Library in Belgrade. Familiarizing children with the book, Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Serbia Madi Atamkulov spoke about interesting facts related to the country and gave children valuable gifts.

The library staff conducted an interactive quiz on the history and culture of Kazakhstan, as well as read several Kazakh folk tales.

Hundreds of copies of the collection of Kazakh fairy tales will be delivered to libraries and schools in Serbia.
