Kazakh epée fencer Ruslan Kurbanov makes it to Round of 16 at Paris Games

Leader of Kazakhstan’s men’s epée fencing team, Ruslan Kurbanov, emerged victorious in his first competition at the 2024 Olympics Games in Paris, Kazinform reports.
The Kazakh fencer won the Men’s Épée Individual Round of 32 fight against Moroccan athlete Houssam Elkord with a score of 15:13.
Earlier, another Kazakh fencer Vadim Sharlaimov failed to reach the Round of 16, having lost to Yannick Borel from France 13:15.
