Kazakh engineers to be trained in Germany under Bolashak scholarships

ASTANA. August 27. KAZINFORM In line with the decision of the State commission for training staff abroad chaired by Marat Tazhin, the Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 427 students from Kazakhstan have become holders of the Bolashak scholarship.
According to the decision of the panel, 224 students will do Master's degree, 8 - PhD degree and 195 will do internships abroad.
Opening the session of the commission, Mr. Tazhin noted it was crucial to ensure practical side of the training process and take into account all needs of the country in national and regional aspects. The scholarships were awarded in accordance with the existing rules and the list of priority majors.
For instance, 66 engineers from Kazakhstan are to do their internships at the leading industrial centers and plants in Germany.
