Kazakh Embassy in Uzbekistan held conference, devoted to 2200 anniversary of Tashkent

Kazakh Ambassador to Uzbekistan Zautbek Turisbekov noted that the anniversary of one of the biggest cities of Asia is a significant date note only for Uzbek people. The history and culture of Tashkent and the activity of outstanding scientists, philosophers, poets, political and public figures are the unique property for many people of Central Asia.

As long as the reconstruction and restoration of historic monuments are one of the main measures in preparation to the celebration of the anniversary, the Kazakh Embassy contributed to it as well. Repair and restoration works in "Sahikhantohur - Tole bi" historic-cultural monument were held under the support of the Kazakh Embassy. Besides, the Kazakh Embassy assisted in the construction of "Aiteke bi" mausoleum as well.
