Kazakh Embassy in Turkey holds events dedicated to 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence
Kazakh Ambassador to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev had a two-day trip to provinces of Aksaray and Nevsehir that are the tourism leading provinces in the country as well as they have great potential in industrial and agricultural development.
The Ambassador met with the governors of the provinces within the trip. A number of meetings was held where the issues of bilateral cooperation were productively discussed. The Turkish side expressed willingness and readiness to participate in the events, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan and establishment of relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey. The governor of the province of Aksaray complimented the achievements of Kazakhstan over the years of independence putting emphasis on policy of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
During the meeting with the rector of 'Aksaray' university the sides reached an agreement on participation of the university in the work of Turkic Academy established in Astana in May of 2010 and on exchange of teachers, students, specialists between the universities of Kazakhstan and Turkey.
The conference 'Kazakhstan-Turkey: friendship and cooperation' dedicated to the 20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan was held in the Aksaray University as well. The Kazakh Ambassador noted that it was very important to extend the cooperation between the representatives of scientific communities of Kazakhstan and Turkey.
