Kazakh Embassy held reception devoted to Nauryz in Hungary

Deputies of the Hungarian Parliament, members of the Foreign Ministry, representatives of social, political, cultural and business circles of Hungary, diplomatic corps and Mass Media visited the event. Kazakh Ambassador Rashid Ibrayev informed the guests of the economic and political reforms being carried out in Kazakhstan, and the antirecessionary measures outlined in the President?s Address to the Nation. He noted that Kazakhstan's foreign policy was based on the adherence to multi-vector course, where the European direction is one of the priorities. In this regard the Diplomat informed of the main provisions of ?Path to Europe? State Program, stressing that the document is the response of Astana to the EU Strategy in regard to Central Asia and upcoming Kazakhstan?s chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010. The guests were told about Nauryz holiday. The head of the Kazakh Diplomatic mission noted that Nauryz was celebrated by the multinational population of Kazakhstan and strengthened interethnic accord in our country.
