Kazakh Education Minister met with Lithuanian colleague

Lithuanian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Rokas Bernotas and rectors of the largest universities of Lithuania took part in the meeting.

The Kazakh Minister informed the colleague of some changes and innovations in Kazakhstan's education and science; the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reports.

As the Minister noted, over 20 years of Independence Kazakhstan modernized its education system.

The Lithuanian Minister expressed special interest to programs of inviting foreign professors. He thinks that there are mutual opportunities on academic exchange of students between our countries. For example, Lithuania has a positive experience in training of 200 Kazakh students in the medicine sphere.

The meeting participants were interested in the Bolashak program. The Lithuanian Minister was interested in opportunity to join those countries and universities, which train Bolashak scholars.
