Kazakh Diplomat awarded Knight's Cross of Hungary

ASTANA. May 23. KAZINFORM Minister for National Economy of Hungary Mihaly Varga awarded Kazakh Diplomat Rymtai Karibzhanov with the Hungarian Order - "Knight's Cross" at the residence of the Ambassador of Hungary in Astana.

Mihaly Varga noted since the establishment of diplomatic relations Rymtai Karibzhanov had done a productive and efficient work in the diplomatic field, aimed at the development and expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

According to M.Varga, this is the first case in the history of Hungary, when a foreign national became a knight of "Knight's Cross "- before the award was presented to only Hungarian citizens." But in joke he added that he considered "Rymtai Karibzhanov as half Magyar", stressing that by doing so he would like to express his respect to the activities of Kazakh diplomat.

First Minister of Foreign Affairs of independent Kazakhstan and a former ambassador of our country in Hungary (1996-2001) Toleutai Sulejmenov noted that Karibzhanov was a great expert geographer, an excellent command of the Hungarian language. "Karibzhanov has done a lot for the good bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Hungary, and rightfully received this high award " T. Suleimenov said.

In turn, Rymtai Karibzhanov expressed gratitude for the high appreciation of his modest work, stressing that this award primarily recognizes the current role of Kazakhstan and the role of President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the world stage.
