Kazakh Diaspora in Saudi Arabia familiarized with Nurly Kosh state migration program

ASTANA.  November 3. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Migration Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of Labor and Social Protection H. Abishev met with the representatives of the Kazakh Diaspora in Saudi Arabia in order to acquaint them with the prospects and process of implementation of Nurly Kosh state migration program, Kazakh MFA informs.

In particular, he told about legal and economic aspects of migration of ethnic Kazakhs to their historical Motherland. The meeting with the Kazakh Diaspora was held within a reception of a delegation of the Kazakhstan People's Assembly in Jeddah.

The reception was organized by the Kazakh Embassy in Saudi Arabia together with the Kazakh Consulate in Jeddah on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Organization of Islamic Conference.

Within the event leaders of the OIC were presented N. Nazarbayev's book "Kazakhstan's Way" and  a brochure "Kazakhstan - multinational country" published in the Arabic language.

Around 3,000 Kazakhs are living in Saudi Arabia to date.
