Kazakh designer Ainur Turisbek enchants Azerbaijan Fashion Week (PHOTOS)

Models graced the Fairmont Hotel runway in one-of-the-kind creations of Azerbaijani designer Fee Dan, designer trio Lariya/Lamanukayeva/Zherebtsov, Georgian designer Nino Bakukhadia and Turkish designer Sevincy. But it was Ainur Turisbek from Kazakhstan who blew away the fashion crowd with her show on the final day of the Azerbaijan Fashion Week. The 34-year-old Kazakh designer unveiled her namesake collection, a world of fashionable dark colors and strict lines. Ainur Turisbek rocketed to style stardom after beating out other Kazakhstani designers in the race to win the Fun Fearless Female Award of Cosmopolitan Kazakhstan magazine as the 2013 Designer of the Year. Many fashion experts in Kazakhstan believe Turisbek's pieces stand out due to uniqueness, authenticity and originality. Azerbaijan Fashion Week is the first international fashion project that brings together local and international designers and creates amazing opportunities for them in the fashion industry. The event will run twice a year with the support of L'Officiel Azerbaijan.
