Kazakh delegation will familiarize with British system of accreditation

ALMATY. August 19. KAZINFORM - Today there has started a study tour of representatives of "Isker" Academy of Business and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Kingdom in order to get familiar with Accreditation UK, the system of accreditation which is administered by the British Council.

Kazak delegation will check out the British system of accreditation of language schools in the framework of the project called "Development of methodology of accreditation of language centers of Kazakhstan".

In addition the study tour program includes orientation sessions in other systems of assessing the quality of English language teaching and visiting language schools of Manchester and London, accredited by the British Council.

"We are very happy to share language schools' accreditation experience with Kazakhstan. We hope that this will help Kazakhstan to create an effective system to ensure a high quality of teaching Kazakh and English languages", said Simon Williams, director of British Council in Kazakhstan.

The study tour will last until August 23.
