Kazakh delegation to participate in work of OSCE Inter-Parliamentary Assembly

During the meeting the Kazakh Ambassador noted consistent development of the political, trade and economic, cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Lithuania. He particularly highlighted inter-parliamentary contacts and active interaction within the Group of Friendship and Cooperation between the Parliaments of Kazakhstan and Lithuania. At present the constructive political dialogue activated within the joint work in Troika of the Chairmen of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The Kazakh diplomat briefed about the economic and political situation in Kazakhstan and foreign policy tasks and initiatives of our country. The Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas noted significant growth of bilateral commodity turnover and necessity of more active usage of trade, energy and transit-transport potential of the two countries. According to the Chairman of the Lithuanian Parliament Kazakhstan?s ?Road to Europe? State Program and successful cooperation of the two countries within the OSCE promote further activation of interaction in various fields.
