Kazakh delegation attends 5th UNAOC Global Forum in Vienna

The Vienna Forum is to focus on the promotion of this year's topic "Responsible Leadership in Diversity and Dialogue", the Kazakh Senate's press service reported.
The high-level forum has brought together Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, President of the United Nations General Assembly Vuk Jeremic, President of Austria Heinz Fischer, Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Emir of Qatar High Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Jorge Sampaio, Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser and other prominent guests.
Within the forum, head of our delegation Mr. Mami had bilateral meetings with the participants. He also paid a visit to the International Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue named after King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz in the Austrian capital where he met with Secretary-General of the organization Faisal Bin Abdulrahman Bin Muaammar. The Kazakh Senate Speaker congratulated his interlocutor on the opening of the center and briefed him on the activities of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. The meeting also touched upon the prospects for cooperation between the Secretariat of the Congress and the King Abdullah Center.
Senator Adil Akhmetov and Chairman of the Agency for Religious Affairs Kairat Lama Sharif of Kazakhstan are participating in the events within the framework of the 5th UNAOC Global Forum.
