Kazakh delegation attended Saudi Investors Window forum in Riyadh
The Vice Minister told about the active work on establishing contacts with foreign investors, including those from the OIC member states, held within the framework of the State Program on Forced Industrial Innovative Development of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014.
At a meeting with representatives of the Islamic Development Bank, World Islamic Economic Forum, UCI International Mr. Abdibekov emphasized Kazakhstan's interest in attracting foreign investors to run their business in our country on the basis of all necessary conditions created by the state. He paid special attention to the issues of implementation of the program on enterprises modernization "Productivity-2020".
N. Abdibekov invited the forum participants to the 7th World Islamic Economic Forum planned for June 2011 in Astana. This forum will be one of the key activities of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Organization of the Islamic Conference, which unites 57 Muslim states.
Besides, the Vice Minister handed over official invitations to the 2nd Kazakhstan Islamic Financial Conference planned for March 14-15, 2011 in Astana. The conference will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.
