Kazakh delegation attended 12th Ministerial Meeting of Asia Cooperation Dialogue
Head of the Kazakhstan delegation briefed the participants of the ministerial meeting on development of the tourism industry in Kazakhstan, as well as the country's international initiatives, as "green economy", EXPO 2017 and the Congress of World and Traditional Religions.
Referring to Kazakhstan's experience in chairing the major regional organizations such as OSCE, OIC, SCO and CICA, Deputy Foreign Minister called on the ACD member-states to support Kazakhstan's candidacy for the non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2017-2018.
The ACD member states welcomed Kazakhstan's proposal to integrate the principles of green economy, which was included in the final declaration of the ministerial meeting, and approved the Action Plan of the ACD Energy Concept and Development of Intra-Asian tourism.
During the meeting with Ghanim bin Al Favil Buayneynom, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, the two diplomats discussed development of the bilateral cooperation. Head of the Kazakhstan delegation conveyed Foreign Minister Idrissov's message to his Bahraini colleague Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa.
K.Sarybay also held number of bilateral talks with heads of delegations of the ACD member states.
