Kazakh Defense Minister met with Israeli delegation

ASTANA. June 5. KAZINFORM. A meeting of Kazakh Defense Minister Daniyal Akhmetov with the delegation of Israeli Ministry of Defense, headed by Director of the SIBAT Department Udi Shani took place in Astana yesterday, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Ministry.
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Israel to Kazakhstan Israel Mey-Ami and Deputy Head of the Central and Eastern Europe Subdivision of the SIBAT Dmitri Golub were among the members of the delegation as well.
Military-technical cooperation of Kazakhstan and Israel, problems and relations between the countries in the sphere of production ad supplies of armament and equipment by the Israeli companies were discussed at the meeting. Issues of remedial actions in the armament supplies were discussed as well.
The Head of the Kazakh Defense Ministry noted that his telephone conversation with his Israeli colleague, held on May 20, gave positive results. At present representatives of the Israeli companies together with the Kazakh military men work on the remedial actions.
Representatives of the Israeli delegation agreed with the Kazakh Minister. The Israeli Ambassador noted that the disadvantages are amendable, admitting that they could occur at the first stage of introduction of new armament systems.
