Kazakh crooner wows international signing competition in West Hollywood

ASTANA. December 10. KAZINFORM Farkhad Madenov from Kazakhstan won in the solo academic signing category of the Sixth Annual International Competition for Young Performers "Colibri-2013" in the City of West Hollywood, the U.S., the Astana branch of the Zhas Otan Party reports.
Having praised Farkhad's talent and professionalism, the panel asked him to perform the Russian romance "Gori, gori moya zvezda" (Shine, shine my star). Farkhad had the honor to do it together with the living legend maestro of violin Daniel Shindarov.
