Kazakh companies urged to play active role in EXPO-2017

"President Nazarbayev instructed to attract as many Kazakhstani companies as possible to participate in the EXPO-2017 event. Our companies should supply construction materials and new technologies as well as provide services and develop infrastructure," managing director of "NC "Astana EXPO-2017" JSC Saltanat Rakhimbekova said at a press conference at the KazMedia Center in Astana. She also reminded that the President tasked to allot addition 40 billion tenge in 2015 for construction of the EXPO-2017 pavilion in Astana. Baiterek National Holding will distribute these funds in the form of loans between the companies involved into the EXPO project," Ms Rakhimbekova added. The International specialized exhibition "EXPO-2017" will take place in Astana from June 10 till September 10, 2017. More than 100 countries are expected to participate. The exhibition will be visited by more than 2 million people.
