'For instance, in spite of the global crisis the volume of bilateral trade topped record number of USD 20.4 bln in 2010', I. Adyrbekov said.
As he noted there was a good tendency for diversification of cooperation between the two countries. A number of large joint energy projects are under realization now as well as scientific and technical, cultural and humanitarian contacts are expanded.
'Besides, we made good progress regarding issues of trans-boundary rivers in 2010. In particular, we have developed an Agreement on protecting water of trans-boundary rivers which is going to be signed during the President's visit to Beijing', the Ambassador noted.
'Certainly, the upcoming visit of the President to China will be of a very significant meaning for bilateral relations and it is also to lay firm foundation for further development of strategic partnership between our countries', he concluded.
