Kazakh-Chinese relations have great achievements, but it's crucial to move forward - Y.Kazykhanov

He noted importance and intensity of meetings of the top officials of both countries, "over seven years both leaders have met more than 20 times.an important visit was held recently in June, 2011, when Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived in Astana for a state visit."
The Kazakh Minister informed that successful and meaningful talks with Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi were held, there was confirmed interest in maintenance of high dynamics of the political dialogue.
He noted the growing role of China in solution of the regional and international problems, in this connection, Kazakhstan is interested in boosting efforts and interaction with the UN, SCO and CICA.
Y.Kazykhanov congratulated the Chinese colleagues on the presidency in the SCO.
Special attention was paid to the trade-economic ties between our countries, acceleration and enlargement of cooperation in the non-oil and gas sectors, development of transit-transport potential. The matters of investments and finance were discussed. "We consider that we have great achievements. But we should not stop on this, we should move forward and we are interested in development of such an interaction," Y.Kazykhanov outlined.
The Kazakh Minister touched upon the cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. "We are interested in development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation. exchange of cultural delegations will promote this process, next year we will mark the 20th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between our countries, and this will promote strengthening of our friendly ties," Y.Kazykhanov said.
He noted that this meeting became one more impetus for development and strengthening of the foreign ministries ties.
