Kazakh-Chinese interparliamentary coop discussed in Senate

ASTANA. September 9. KAZINFORM Head of the Senate Committee for Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security Kuanysh Sultanov has held a meeting with the delegation of the National People's Congress (NPC) of China today, Kazinform refers to the press service of the House.

The Chinese delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the NCP, Vice President of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament Ma Wenpu.

"The bilateral relations are successfully developing and characterized with high dynamic of interaction. It became possible due to the friendship and mutual understanding of the Heads of the States", K.Sultanov noted.

M.Wenpu complimented the success of the economic and political reforms held in Kazakhstan, stressing the importance of interparliamentary diplomacy in further strengthening of traditionally friendly Kazakh-Chinese relations.

The interlocutors highly appraised the role of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament and the Kazakh Peace Fund in promotion of efforts on disarmament in the world and provision of nuclear weapons non-proliferation regime.
