Kazakh, Chinese FMs meet in Astana

"Utmost attention was paid to the preparations for the upcoming first ever visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Kazakhstan," Minister Idrissov told journalists after the meeting.

"Today's meeting further strengthened and deepened the bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. Broad agenda covered the aspects of bilateral interaction as well as global issues," he added.

"We've gained full understanding on all points and this demonstrates good relations between the countries," Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi added.
