Kazakh chess player wins at prestigious tournament in UAE

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani grand master player Rustam Khusnutdinov won individual classification of the 2014 Asian Chess Clubs Champions League in Al-Ain, the second largest city in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The strongest teams from India, China, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, the UAE, Iraq, Bangladesh and Australia participated in the event that was held on June 20-28, 2014. India's PSPB team proved to be the best surpassing all its opponents. The Tagaytay Chess Club (Philippines) which won the Asian Cities Chess Team Championship was ranked second. Kazakhstan's Tokkata Chess Club hauled bronze. Rustam Khusnutdinov is a graduate of the Buketov Karaganda State University. In 2013, he won So Nice Ramadhan Cup V tournament in Indonesia.
