Kazakh Centre for Entrepreneurship and Pusan Chamber of Commerce (South Korea) ink a coop memo

ALMATY. June 29. KAZINFORM - Yesterday in Almaty during the two-day youth investment forum named "Leaders of the Future" came together representatives of business in South Korea and Kazakhstan. The Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) in Kazakhstan made its presentation. The parties spoke about the activities and directions of their companies and shared experience. There was a dialogue in an informal setting.

The forum was attended by General Consul of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Kazakhstan Son Chi Kin, who spoke in detail about the positive experience of Korea in conducting the 2012 World Expo.

"Thanks to last year's international exhibition city of Yeosu has turned from an obscure provincial town to the center with a highly developed infrastructure. Here we have built highways and solved social problems. Today all constructed facilities are being used for social purposes, " said the consul.

According to Song Chi Kyna, Korea received a new positive experience that can also benefit Kazakhstan.

"We hope that EXPO-2017 in Astana will give a strong impetus to economic progress of Kazakhstan", stated the diplomat.

According to the president of Kazakhstan's Federation of Small and Medium Business Vladislav Tsoi, Kazakh businesses should study great and valuable experience of their South Korean counterparts. "Pusan is the second largest city and power in Korea, a city leader in South-East Asia, with large production of well-known brands. By our standards, these are large businesses. This memorandum endorsed by both parties will stimulate interaction of entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized businesses. Of interest to us is pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals and infrastructure to ensure the minerals, logistics, and many others" said V. Tsoi.
