Kazakh capital to host Tour Astana race in 2015 - Vinokurov

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - General manager of ProTeam Astana Alexander Vinokurov announced plans to host Tour Astana in the Kazakh capital in August 2015.
"ProTeam Astana managers are currently negotiating the possibility of holding the Tour Astana international cycling event in Kazakhstan's capital. The race may be held in August 2015," Vinokurov told the Friday press conference in Almaty. In his words, executive director of the Kazakhstan Cycling Federation Dmitriy Muravyov is working on that issue. Earlier it was reported that the Tour Almaty race will kick off in the city of Almaty on October 5. 20 teams are expected to participate in the cycling event.
