Kazakh capital hosts photo exhibition for Republic Day
On the occasion of the National Holiday - Republic Day, Astana's Khan Shatyr Shopping and Entertainment Center is hosting a photo exhibition entitled 'One hundred bright faces of Astana', Kazinform News Agency reports citing the capital's akimat.
The exhibition showcases 100 photographs, which depict the city residents who have made a significant contribution to maintaining cleanliness in the city and its improvement.
“We have gathered today for the opening of the photo exhibition dedicated to the Republic Day and Taza (Clean) Qazaqstan campaign. The exhibition showcases individuals who demonstrate a commitment to their homeland and a positive attitude towards it. It features the efforts of the citizens who have greatly influenced on maintaining cleanliness in the city. The aim of the exhibition is to highlight the significance of the Taza Qazaqstan campaign,” Aidana Kamzaeva, Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and Department for work with non-governmental organizations (NGO).
Volunteers and representatives of NGOs actively joined the event.
