Kazakh capital and 12 regions put on storm alert

Storm alert has been issued for the capital of Astana and 12 regions of Kazakhstan for December 23, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazhydromet National Met Office.
Fog is expected in Astana as well as Karaganda, Turkestan, Mangistau, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, and Ulytau regions.
Aktobe region is to see black ice, Atyrau, Kostanay, and West Kazakhstan regions – fog and black ice.
Ground blizzard is predicted in Abai and East Kazakhstan regions.
