Kazakh boxers won gold in international boxing tournament in Yerevan

ASTANA. April 17. KAZINFORM Four gold medals were won by Kazakhstan's sportsmen in the international boxing tournament in Yerevan, the press service of the Boxing Federation of Kazakhstan informs.
The tournament was held under the auspices of President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan.
Three of our athletes finished the fights earlier. Serik Sapiyev and Ivan Dychko knocked down their opponents during the second rounds and Vasily Levit did it in the first round of the fight. Askar Abdulayev won with 16:14 score over the boxer from Greece.
Besides, our sportsmen won one silver and two bronze medals in the tournament. Gani Zhailaulov was a silver medalist and Birzhan Zhakipov and Danabek Suzhanov won 'bronze'.
112 athletes from 16 countries participated in the tournament. Our country was represented by 10 members of our national team.
