Kazakh boxer withdraws from ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships
Alua Balkibekova (50kg), the representative of Kazakhstan's boxing female team, will not be able to compete at the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Alua Balkibekova has withdrawn from the competition due to health problems.
“Due to acute gastroenteritis with intestinal syndrome of medium severity it was decided to withdraw the athlete from the competition,” the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation’s press service cited the doctor's report.
Today, December 2, Alua Balkibekova was set to fight against Raksat Chuthamat of Thailand.
Recall that two Kazakh boxers secured victory on the second day of the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai.
