Kazakh boxer shines in APB debut fight

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Ilyas Suleimenov has become the third Kazakhstani to win his debut APB fight at the AIBA Pro Boxing event in Novosibirsk, Russia, Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation.
The recent Incheon 2014 Asian Games champion Suleimenov vied against another Flyweight (52kg) Jasurbek Latipov from Uzbekistan. Suleimenov was granted victory on points after six rounds 3:0. The world boxing champion Birzhan Zhakipov is set to make his APB debut on November 1 in China.
