Kazakh boxer impresses at AIBA Pro Boxing event in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The very first AIBA Pro Boxing (APB) event kicked off at Daulet Sports Complex in Astana on Friday (October 24), Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
Kazakhstani lightweight champion Berik Abdrakhmanov (60kg) demonstrated a top-class performance on Friday night.
The Kazakhstani became the sensation of the night. Although many believed that Abdrakhmanov was the underdog of the bout, he managed to outclass Irish APB boxer and 2009 European champion David Joyce in his debut APB fight.
