Kazakh-born musicians Bulat and Botagoz Tynybekov to perform in Norfolk House Music Room Oct 16

LONDON.  October 10. KAZINFORM Bulat and Botagoz Tynybekov, graduate musicians from the Royal College of Music will perform in the Norfolk House Music Room at the V & A. Concert with a short interval in the performance October 16,  2009.

This concert is possible thanks to kind support of Air Astana which provided musicians with free travel from Kazakhstan to UK. The program of the performance include peaces of Bach, Mozart and Zolfan Kodaly, Abay and E. Brusilovsky.

Kazakh-born musicians Bulat (cello) and Botagoz (violin) Tynybekov recently graduated the Royal College of Music, supported by the full presidential Bolashak scholarship. Prize-winners of many international competitions, they have given concerts in Kazakhstan, Russia, UK and US (concert dedicated to the Victims of 9/11). As members of different chamber groups they have performed in different venues of London including playing in the world-premier of Karl Jenkins's 'Tlep' at the Royal Albert Hall. In spring 2008 they gave series of concerts dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Bolashak scholarship, performing Bruch's Violin Concerto and Elgar's Cello concerto with Kazakh State Philharmonic Orchestra and Astana Symphony. Recent highlights include participation in music festivals in Germany, Malta, Italy and UK and recitals at venues such as National Gallery, Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain, Royal College of Music and Emmanuel Hall of Cambridge University. In spring 2008 and in May 2009 Bulat and Botagoz toured Kazakhstan with acclaimed British pianist Sophia Rahman, sponsored by Air Astana, the leading air company in Kazakhstan.
