Kazakh-Austrian trade turnover increased to $1.5 bln

ASTANA. March 31. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev had a telephone conversation with Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger yesterday; Kazinform refers to the MFA's press service.
The Austrian diplomat congratulated K. Saudabayev on the successful beginning of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE and expressed support to the activity and initiatives of Kazakhstan as OSCE Chair.
M. Spindelegger gratefully accepted the invitation to the informal meeting of OSCE foreign ministers planned for July 16-17 in Almaty.
The parties noted the high level of bilateral relations and increase of bilateral trade turnover to USD 1.5 billion despite the influence of the global financial and economic crisis.
They confirmed readiness to further political and economic coopeartion between the two states and continue close contacts.
