Kazakh-Austrian relations development has positive dynamics - Nazarbayev

Negotiations in narrow and enlarged format were held following the official welcome ceremony in the Hofburg Palace.

Perspectives of strengthening political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries and also key issues of international agenda were discussed at the meeting.

Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated Heinz Fisher on the forthcoming National Day of Austria and wished happiness, wellbeing and prosperity.

"It is symbolically that I'm visiting Vienna on the 20^th anniversary of diplomatic relations establishment between Kazakhstan and Austria. Today, the development of bilateral relations between our countries has positive dynamics. A number of enterprisers with Austrian capital works in Kazakhstan," Nursultan Nazarbayev told.

Austria is one of the 10^th Kazakhstan's biggest trade partners. The trade turnover increased by 50% or above USD 4 million.
