Kazakh and Tajik aviation authorities negotiate cooperation

According to the Ministry, the representatives of the Kazakh Civil Aviation Committee under the Ministry of Transport and Communications have arrived to Dushanbe, Tajikistan to discuss cooperation development.
"The aviation authorities of the two countries discuss cooperation enhancement issues such as launching of new air routs on a parity basis," the Ministry said.
For instance, Kazakhstan proposes to open a Dushanbe- Astana- Dushanbe route.
Moreover the parties discuss other important issues, the Ministry said.
Currently only one direct route connects Kazakhstan and Tajikistan (Dushanbe-Almaty). The flights are made by Tajik Somon Air (two times a week), Tajik Air (once a week) and Kazakh airline Air Astana (three times a week), Kazinform refers to TREND.az.
