Kazakh and Russian turcologists sign memo of cooperation

MOSCOW. KAZINFORM - International Turkic Academy (Astana) and the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences have signed a memorandum of cooperation in Moscow.
The event was organized with the active assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation. The ceremony was attended by prominent Russian and Kazakh scientists -turcologists including vice-president of the Society of Orientalists RAS, Head of the Department of History of East Institute of Oriental Studies, Professor Dmitry Vasilyev, Doctor of Philology, Corresponding Member of the Institute of Oriental Studies Anna Dybo, head of the Department of Oriental Literature Russian State Library Marina Melanyina, a well-known Kazakhstani archaeologist Zeinolla Samashev, scientist secretary of Turkic Academy Amantay Sharip, Academy members Andrei Chubatin, Taibulla Baboyarov and others.
