Kazakh Ambassador visited Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous region of Tajikistan

ASTANA. June 14. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Tajikistan Abutalip Akhmetov visited Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous region (GBAO) of Tajikistan on June 12-13. Within the visit he met with Chairman of the GBAO Kodir Kossimov, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
The Ambassador informed the Chairman on the current situation in Kazakhstan, briefing on the program of antirecessionary measures, adopted by the Government. The Chairman informed on the development of the region, challenges and prospects.
A.Akhmetov noted that the Kazakh side is ready to consider investment projects in the field of hydropower industry, ore mining sector, agriculture, construction of highways and railways.
The Kazakh Ambassador visited the Institute of Professional Development and the Khorog Park, reconstructed on the project of the Aga Khan Trust on culture.
