Kazakh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia met with reps of Saudi Fund for Development

ASTANA. June 16. KAZINFORM Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia Kairat Lama Sharif met with representatives of Saudi Fund for Development in Riyadh who were expected to take part in the third Astana Economic Forum 'Sustainable Economic Growth in Post-Crisis Period', the press office of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Saudi Arabia informs.

Within the negotiations which were held on June 14 the Kazakh diplomat called the Saudi Fund for active participation in investing the projects within the Forced Industrial-Innovative Development Program for 2010-2014.

The Director General of the Department of Economic Studies Ahmad Ibn Abdulaziz Al-Yahia was interested in the offer and expressed his readiness to discuss the issue with the representatives of JSC 'Samruk Kazyna', Investment Committee of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan, the Committee for International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. The issues regarding development of mutual cooperation and investing infrastructural projects of Kazakhstan by the Fund are planned to be discussed as well.
