Kazakh Ambassador to Russia, President of Tatarstan had talks

Kazakh delegation met with the country's authorities, reps of business corporations and enterprises, visited innovation projects development facilities and got familiarized with small and medium business development and support practices.

During the visit Ambassador Galym Orazbakov met with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The parties debated a wide range of issues, including development of the West Europe-West China transport corridor project, shared views on expansion of business ties between the countries.

President Rustam Minnikhanov highly appreciated initiatives of Kazakhstan's authorities to create conditions for the Tatar Diaspora in order to preserve their culture and ethnic language. He noted that it is planned to hold a sabantuy in Kazakhstan in 2013 and asked Kazakhstan to support this event.

In his turn, Orazbakov, thanked for the warm reception.
