Kazakh Ambassador to Jordan met with Jordanian Lower House Speaker

ASTANA. KAZINFORM On March 4, 2014, Kazakhstan Ambassador to Jordan Bulat Sarsenbayev met with Jordanian Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh in order to brief on the President's Nursultan Nazarbayev Address to the people - "Kazakhstan's way - 2050: common aim, common interests, common future".

The Ambassador informed the Jordanian Speaker about the Strategy "Kazakhstan- 2050", Kazakhstan's foreign policy concept for 2014-2020, as well as the progress reached in the social, political and economic spheres, and important foreign policy initiatives of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh MFa's press service said.

Speaker Atef Tarawneh highlighted the high level of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Jordan, and noted the special importance of the President Nazarbayev's Address "Kazakhstan-2050", stressing that the document covers all social spheres.

Atef Tarawneh expressed interest in the International Exhibition "Expo-2017" and noted that the Jordanian side must learn from the rich experience of Kazakhstan in hosting such events. Besides, on behalf of Majilis Speaker Nurlan Nigmatullin, Bulat Sarsenbayev delivered an invitation letter to visit Kazakhstan.
