Kazakh Ambassador to Italy Elemesov pays a working visit to Livorno and Pisa

During the talks with the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Livorno Roberto Nardi, as well as mayors of Pietrasanta, Seravezza, Statsema and Forte dei Marmi, under consideration were the issues of establishing contacts and mutually beneficial cooperation with the regions of Kazakhstan. There has been reached an agreement on the exchange of visits by delegations of areas.

Within the visit the Embassy of Kazakhstan organized and held a business forum dedicated to investment and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Italy, which was attended by leaders of 50 different companies representing key economic sectors of the region of Tuscany.

In order to attract Italian firms to the state program of forced industrial -innovative development of Kazakhstan , A.Elemesov held talks with the leadership of «Henraux Spa» company and visited the manufacturing sector and the marble quarry.

An important point of the visit was the meeting in Tuscany of the Kazakh Ambassador with the faculty and students of the University of Pisa, one of the largest educational institutions in Italy. In his speech the Kazakh diplomat highlighted the main provisions of domestic and foreign policy of Kazakhstan, introduced to the current situation and prospects of development of Kazakhstan's economy and bilateral Kazakh-Italian cooperation in various fields.

After the lecture Mr.Elemesov gave to the library of the University the political, scientific and journalistic works of the President of Kazakhstan, which are translated into Italian and English, as well as a number of books about the history, culture and traditions of Kazakhstan.
