ASTANA. March 3. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Nurlan Onzhanov held a meeting with Speaker of the Folketing (Parliament) of Denmark Thor Pedersen, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
The sides discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between tow states in bilateral and multilateral formats.
The Kazakh Ambassador informed the interlocutor on the current state of socio-economic development of the country, President's Address to the nation, program and priorities of the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship. The emphasis was laid on the joint projects within the OSCE, in particular, holding conference devoted to the 20 anniversary of the Copenhagen Document in June this year.
The Speaker of the Folketing complimented the dynamics of the relations between the countries and assured on readiness of Denmark to support the initiatives of Kazakhstan, wishing success at the OSCE chairman post.
