Kazakh Ambassador presents credentials to Russian President

Following the ceremony Vladimir Putin addressed the heads of the diplomatic missions: "We have a common interest that your work to be effective and successful. We appreciate and value good relations with each country."

As the example of successful international cooperation Putin named the success of the integration process with the participation of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. He stressed that the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, and in future the Eurasian Economic Union, have great potential for working together.

Addressing the head of the Kazakh embassy, he emphasized the strategic character of partnership between the two countries. "The development of relationships and work in this area is related to one of the priorities of Russian foreign policy. Our country strongly supports the deepening of integration processes in the post-Soviet space," the Russian President stated.

He noted that the Russian Federation will continue unifying and open foreign policy in order to strengthen the positive trends in the global economy and world issues.
