Kazakh ambassador presented his credentials to the President of Chile

After the official ceremony the Kazakh Ambassador had a meeting with Mr.Pinera, which was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. During the talk B.Ordabaev told in detail about the history of our country to the President of Chile, about President of Kazakhstan, about current socio-economic situation and the measures for further development of the country as defined in the Message of President Nursultan Nazarbayev "Kazakhstan - 2050"Strategy.

"Kazakhstan has a well-deserved recognition in the world community. And Chile, in turn, is interested in intensifying cooperation in the whole spectrum of bilateral relations with Kazakhstan", said the President of Chile Mr. Pinera.

The Chilean leader wished success to the Kazakh diplomat in his work, and also conveyed his sincere and best wishes to the Head and the people of Kazakhstan.

During his visit to Chile B.Ordabaev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile Alfredo Moreno Charme, during which they discussed in detail the issues of Kazakh-Chile partnership and practical cooperation in investment, research, energy and other areas. Questions were raised about the development of inter-parliamentary dialogue, appointment of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Santiago, and Chile's participation in EXPO 2017. Kazakh diplomat informed his interlocutor about the upcoming Astana Economic Forum (May 21-23, 2014) and invited him and other interested agencies and businesses of Chile to take part in this event.

For his part Mr.Charme informed about his planned visit to Kazakhstan for political consultations between the foreign ministries of our two countries the following year.

"The Chilean government is planning to open the Chilean Embassy in Kazakhstan in the near future", said the Chilean minister.
