Kazakh Ambassador presented credentials to Duke of Luxemburg

The sides exchanged opinions on the results and prospects of bilateral interaction in different spheres.

The Grand Duke paid special attention to the opportunities for extension of cooperation in the financial sphere. The Ambassador informed the Duke on the activity of the national funds of Kazakhstan. In this regard the Duke proposed assistance of the Luxemburg experts to the Kazakh financial structures and informed on intention to charged his Government to activate the work on rapprochement of financial centers of Kazakhstan and Luxemburg.

The Head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission, accredited in the EU as well, spoke for the cooperation within the EU and development of relations between Kazakhstan and the Belgo-Luxembourg Economic Union.  

Speaking about the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship the Duke assured that his country will keep on supporting Kazakhstan during the period of its execution of this important mission.

The Duke of Luxemburg supported the initiatives of the Kazakh President aimed at the strengthening of regional and international security. In particular, the efforts of Astana on nuclear non-proliferation were complimented.  

At the end of the meeting the Grand Duke invited the Kazakh leadership to pay official visit to his country.
