Kazakh Ambassador met with UNODC Regional Representative

ASTANA. August 12. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Uzbekistan Boribay Zheksembin held a meeting with Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Masood Karimipour in Tashkent, the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reports.
B.Zheksembin informed the interlocutor on regional projects realized in Kazakhstan within the frameworks of cooperation with the UNODC such as "Control over Precursors in Central Asia", "Rendering Counseling Assistance to Forensic Laboratories of Central Asia", etc.
M.Karimipour in turn expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for active participation in the activity of the UN regional structure, stressing the importance of the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre the activity of which is aimed at combating drug and precursors trafficking.
