Kazakh Ambassador met with reps of Kazakh Diaspora in Vilnius

The Kazakh Diplomat complimented the development of political, trade-economic and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Lithuania and strengthening of traditional friendly relations between the two peoples. G.Koishybayev informed the participants of the meeting on economic and political situation in Kazakhstan and explained the key provisions of the President?s Address to the Nation. The Ambassador commented the policy of Kazakhstan, concerning the compatriots, living abroad and made proposals on holding of joint activities with the Kazakh Diaspora, aimed at satisfaction of its national, cultural, spiritual, and language requirements. The representatives of the Diaspora agreed to establish Kazakh National Cultural Union in Lithuania, one of the main tasks of which will be introduction of the Kazakh culture and teaching Kazakh language to children and youth.
