Kazakh Ambassador met with Chairman of Qatar Advisory Board

In the course of the meeting the Kazakhstani diplomat extended an invitation of Chairman of Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev to the Chairman of the Advisory Board to pay an official visit to our country in 2010 as well as the delegation of the Qatar Advisory Board to take part in Trans-Asian Parliamentary Forum "Eurasian OSCE Measurement" scheduled this spring in Almaty.

Muhammad Bin Mubarak Al Khuleifi accepted the invitation and informed that certain terms of his visit to Kazakhstan will be coordinated through the diplomatic channel.

During the meeting the Kazakh Ambassador noted that Kazakhstan has become one of the leaders on the post-Soviet territory during the years of its independence in economic and political reformations made under the leadership of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

It was also emphasized that the election of our country as the OSCE chairman in 2010 is the acknowledgement of its achievements in the forming-up of a democratic society.

The issues concerning the development of bilateral mutual interaction in parliamentary sphere were also considered in the course of the meeting. The parties noted that the relations between both countries have been activated and a high level of mutual interaction in political, economic and cultural spheres was reached as well.
